I've tried both: the nerve blocks and the embedded nerve stimulators.
As help23 said, while nerve stimilator implant is rather an ordeal, a nerve block is a quick and easy process. Just a handful of injections with a small needle, around the eyebrow line in your case. Also, I'm very surprised that your neurologist feels that s/he has exhausted all other options if you haven't tried nerve blocks earlier. They're a very common treatment. In fact, if you don't mind sharing I'd be interested to hear, in general, what treatments you've tried. Perhaps we can think of some other things to try.
