Hi All,
I usually post in the Chronic Pain forum, but over the past few years, I've been having a recurring pattern of migraines/headaches (?)
Thankfully, weeks or even months can go by between them, but I'll get a sudden onset of intense pain behind my left eye, spreading back through that side of my head.
I'll have to keep that eye closed due to light sensitivity and I'll also be nauseous (though haven't vomited).
A few times, this has lasted for as long as 3 days, though the intensity might vary over the period.
Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Tylenol, haven't helped.
Last night, I sat down around 8pm to get some work done, and the pain hit. I went back to bed, had an ice pack over the left side of my head (not sure if it helped at all), and suffered until I fell asleep around midnight.
I woke up this morning with a milder version of the above, and based upon past experience, will likely end up dealing with it through the weekend.
Note that yesterday I didn't take any breakthrough opioids for my chronic pain.
