Nagging headache for over a week .. :/

Hope this post finds you all well & smiling :)

I am so glad I found this place. I have been reading some posts, & it made me realize maybe my headache isn't as bad as I thought it was .. but here is my story.

1 morning, just over a week ago, I woke with a nagging headache. I have a 8 month old son, so I figured it was from lack of sleep - He was sick for a few days & didn't sleep well. But, it just won't go away. I can't even really describe what it feels like. Its just THERE. Its there when I go to bed, its there when I wake up .. its THERE all the time. I went to see my GP, & he took a look in my ears & throat .. said it was red, & that was causing my headaches .. wrote me a Rx & sent me on my way. But, 4 days in, & the pain is still there. Advil does take the pain away .. but only for a little while. & then its right back there again. It sometimes moves to my neck, pressure behind my ears. I think of the worst of course ... Could it be a sinus infection? Could it be a lingering migraine?

Any idea what this could be? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
