Hi,
I'm new to the forum and wanted to let you know of a simple solution for migraine prevention that works for me and will hopefully help you too. I started getting migraines with aura in my mid to late twenties (I'm 32 now). My triggers were lack of sleep, alcohol, emotional stress...the usual! I avoided my triggers as much as possible but you've got to live and I'd still seem to get them randomly anyway. I was getting three to four a week, sometimes two in a day. Invariably I felt awful and fed up. So I did some research and found articles relating to head elevation when sleeping. Growing up and into my 20's I always used two pillows but then I went down to one for some reason. At the time I didn't put two and two together but I believe that was the time my migraines slowly started and gradually increased. Read this link:

and try elevating your head tonight, it takes time to find a comfortable position if you're use to lying flat but it's worth persevering! Literally overnight my migraines stopped. I didn't have a single migraine for over six months, then on Friday I was staying in a hotel, only had one pillow and then the next day had two migraines, vomited (first time) and felt generally crappy! Back to two pillows now and no migraines.
Hope this works for you too, it might take a few attempts before they stop. Let me know how you get on x
