I think men are the cause of my major migraines (not joking)

(warning, TMI type of post.. somewhat explicit)

This is embarrassing but I don't know where to discuss this.

I'm pretty sure that "men" give me migraines.

Full out, aura, vomiting for 24 hours type of migraines.

And when I say men, I mean semen. :/

I've had 4 major migraines in the last year. I couldn't figure out the trigger. Until the last one.. I didn't want to take a mediction during the migraine in the slight chance I'd gotten pregnant considering my long term, committed boyfriend and I had had sex, ejaculated inside, and didn't use a condom. (I can feel the day I ovulate so pregnancy was unlikely considering my phase in the cycle, yet still plausible). Then I realized that I'd had the same thought one of the prior times I'd had a migraine in the last year. (And my boyfriend and I didn't usually allow this to occur)

I started doing research on semen and learned that the female body absorbs traces of hormones in the semen, and that semen also causes a female's pituitary gland to produce other hormones to encourage ovulation etc.. So I started considering the idea that the semen was somehow having a chain reaction on my hormones or body chemicals and that might be related to my migraines, since sometimes migraines are hormonal.

Since then, I've avoided the above conditions, so to speak. And no migraines since December.

But now I'm scared to even try and have a baby in the future... if semen = migraine for me.

I have fibromyalgia and my hormones have been bizarre and off since then by evidence of my wacky menstrual cycle. (I spot for a week before my 'period' every month) I don't know if that's related.

Anyone ever heard of such a condition. I'm allergic to men! Oh no!
