Scared. Head numbness

I am 26 years old and I suffer from severe anxiety. I am also a hypochondriac and a constant worrier

Anyway, all day today I have been getting these weird dull numbing sensations in my temple on the right side of my head and behind my eye. It feels like my head goes numb and feels full of pressure for about 15 seconds and then it goes away.

I am freaking out because I just googled it and think I'm dying of a brain tumor or Bell's palsy or some other disease and I will die in my sleep tonight.

I am soooooo scared I am crying.
Someone please help me :( :( :,

Hi. I'm sorry that you are dealing with this feeling in your head. Have you had it checked out by a doctor? If not I recommend that you do so. I am a 23 year old who suffers with severe anxiety and chronic daily headaches myself, and have had lots of professional therapy for it. One of the most important things I learned is how powerful your mind is. I don't doubt that you are feeling the sensations you are, but at the same time your mind can make you feel things an get carried away when it might not be a big deal.

Once again, to be on the safe side, get it checked out but try not to get carried away by powerful thoughts that can bring on more sensations than you would have without the anxiety. Best of luck.

Hi, do you have sinus issues? Just curious because sometimes a little sinus pressure can cause some dull sensations.

You aren't gonna die - trust me the left side of my face has been numb for last year - I'm still living (I even got my degree in that time) - all of my CT/MRI scans have come back clean.

If you do happen to have sinus issues I highly recommend some local honey - it really helps - I can't tell you how much a spoonful of local honey a day has helped me with my sinuses - so much so that I practically didn't suffer this year and most people did :-)
