(No Subject)

Hello, I am new to the forum and I have a question.

I have had migraines for over 20 years and spent the last 10 years taking 150mg Pizotifen, However I have had an increase in migraines and saw a neurologist who wants me to start Topamax - I am happy to try this (I will try anything not to have a migraine!)
The problem is that the neurologist wants me to gradually stop the Pizotifen, have a month med free before starting Topamax. I got down to 100mg and was fine but everytime I try to cut down to 50mg I have a lot more migraines so there is no way I can have a month with no meds.

Does anyone know if I can take both meds at the same time and gradually decrease the Pizotifen as I increase the topamax?
