My 14 Year Old daughter has a "headache" as she calls it. As I have her describe it in more detail, here is what she says...
It is behind her temple, it feels as if it is just under the skin (like the sensation you get from having a IV put in), she says it is a stinging feeling, most times it is only on one side, but it can change sides, sometimes it is on both sides.
Nothing makes it better. She has had this problem since December of 2012 it is no May of 2014. I have taken her to Neurologist, Therapist, Orthodontist, Allergist, Chiropractor. We are waiting to see someone that specializes in the mapping of the inner ear. She has been on every med possible. Migraine meds, anti depressants, pain meds, muscle relaxers, and many many more.
If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. She isn't able to go to school or any other normal 14 year old activities.
Also she has developed chronic dizziness and insomnia.
