Aura with pain?

Hey all!

I'm new to the migraine board, you'll usually find me over in anxiety :)

Has anyone ever had pain with their aura? I woke up this morning with a slight headache on my left side and feeling generally weird. I went back to bed and got the hand/mouth numbness. It went away and then my migraine got worse per usual.

I have never had any headache with my aura. I usually start with visual symptoms, then feeling weird and confused, speech difficulties, numbness and after about 30 min will get pain.

Called my nurses hotline and she didn't think I had a stroke but I wanted to check with you experienced migraine people to ease my anxiety. Which has been triggered by this migraine, yay :\
