Has anyone tried either or both of these meds for chronic daily migraine?
I would love to hear your feedback on if it helped, side effects, etc.
Thanks!

They are sometimes used for headaches but I don't see them helping a whole lot. Side effects are usually minimal with either sedation or dry mouth depending on dosage.
Are your daily headaches at the same time every day?

I was on amitriptyline for about
6 months. I've heard it's a common migraine preventative. My neurologist told me that the dry mouth was a sign that I was on the right dose. I ultimately stopped taking it because I gained a lot of weight. I think some of that was attributed to not exercising as much and the huge sweet tooth I blame on the ami.
