Topamax and breathing difficulties..

I've been taking topamax for about 3 months now. Originally on it as an alcohol suppressant. Although I never suffered headaches before alot I have noticed I have not had one since I started on this drug but what I have noticed it my breathing changes. I feel like I cant take a full breath and its extremely annoying or feels like half my throat is closed. I have had some asthma in the past and when I say some I have it on and off like will have it once then not for years but now I've suddenly got it since being on topamax. Has anyone else suffered this while being on topamax. I dont want to stop taking it as it also suppresses my appetite haha but this breathing situation is killing me!!

Its suppresses cravings which is why people with weight issues are prescribed it also. Its known to be for headaches but has alot of benefits for different things. I've researched it alot and its used for lots of other things other then headaches but it certainly works for them. Yeah if it continues I will go back to the doctor as its doing my head in! Comes and goes but you could be right, it might just be the asthma. Whether or not the topamax is the cause its flared up again I'm not sure. Will soon know I guess :)
