Alternating meds to avoid rebound headaches???

Has anyone had success alternating medications to avoid rebound headaches? I had a major break through migraine last week and now I'm getting small headaches almost daily. I can manage them w/ tylonel or tylonel/codeine but I don't want to get into a rebound headache cycle. (Been there already).

Break through is not rebound, just want to clarify that.

Are you on maint med from a Neurologist? Tylonel taking care of a migraine? Never heard of that. T3 yes.

T/codeine should only be used in the most extreme circumstances. There are other medications that are non narcotic that are just as good.

Talk to your doc/Neuro about these choices, they have very slim or no chance of rebound.
