My fiancé is currently in the hospital he has had a throbbing headache for the past 7 days straight the whole head is throbbing. The Drs are trying all different kinds of medications most of them are just putting him to sleep but when he wakes up and the medicine wears off his headache is back and on a scale from 1-10 is is normally a 7. He had gotten a concussion in 2013 and he suffers from vertigo and on Saturday a week ago he started having a bad headache he took some Tylenol that normally works and went to sleep in the middle of the night he rolled over and got really dizzy he hasn't had a dizzy spell in over a year. So finally on Tuesday since the symptoms did not subside I took him to the ER they tried steroids, pain medicine, but his headache remained the same and the dizziness was constant. The dizziness finally left for the most part on day 5 but the headache remains they did MRI of his brain and neck and spine, they did a CT scan everything was negative. They are saying it isn't just a migraine but I suffer from migraines and I have never had one that lasted for 7 days . Someone help what can I ask the Dr to try not or check all his blood work is good also.
