Boss Totally Unsympathetic to Migraines

My wife has migraines that render her completely debilitated. She suffers in bed all day about 3x month.

She’s a good worker but her boss is down right cruel. Unsympathetic. Her boss demands that she come into work which is impossible when her migraines hit.

Once at work, she collapsed in a room due to the pain. Someone shut out the lights for her. Her boss came in furious and flicked the lights back on and told her she couldn’t rest. It was cruel and caused my wife more suffering.

I hate it. I hate to see her hurt so and stressed out by a boss who is quite frankly, mean.

What can she do? Any advice? She’s worried about losing her job.

I recommend she take time off anyway you can manage it.

She needs to see a Neurologist specializing in migraines.
There epipens that you take 2xs a month

A nose powder stops it in it path
Ubrevely works well

Once the pain is manageable. She can get to work

Sorry she has such a boss.
If there is a Human Resource Department she needs to put in a formal complaint.

I suggest she takes the time to call the doc who is treating her. Explain the situation Doc may be aware of this. It happens lot.

There are laws to prevent discrimination. It can and is applied to
Her bosses action.
if no HR dept. I would contact local labor board.
Keep asking until you find an answer

I'm sure you could go with her.
She needs help, to be her own advocate. Hard with that pain.

OTC meds will cause boomerang pain
