Hopefully this entry will help someone. about
a month ago, I started having pain on the right side of my head above & behind my ear. Someone in this forum described it exactly like I was experiencing it-- it hurt off and on, it felt like the earpiece on my glasses pressed too tightly on this area causing the area to feel like a bruise. When I first went to see the doc, he said to wait longer to see if it got better (I only had this a week when I saw him). A month later when I still had it, I had a CT scan of the brain & saw a neurologist. Scan was fine & neurologist said he couldn't find any problem. The pain would get so bad sometimes I would have to take OTC Excedrin Migraine med. I was getting very frustrated. One day I had the idea that maybe the problem was caused from my sleeping position & maybe from reading in bed on the problem side of my body. That night I switched the side I usually sleep on & it was noticeably better the next day. I have tried this new sleeping position now for 3 days & I have not had the pain I was experiencing. Finally I have some relief.
