Hi.
I am new to this site and I suffer from sporadic hemiplegic migraines (meaning there is no family history). I was diagnosed at the age of seven and I am now thirty. Unfortunately as I have become older my attacks have become a lot worse and I also suffer from chronic daily headaches (which are not related to pankiller overuse), and migraines with and without aura. I have seen many specialists over the years and tried many preventative medications. I am now taking Flunarizine and I am being seen by one of the leading headache specialists in the UK. He is trying to find the cause of my CDH and sort that, and then he said he would tackle my hemiplegic migraines.
I would be interested to hear from other people who suffer from hemiplegic migraines.
