Hi Guys,
I got my results of the heart scans this week and they are both clear. The 'Calcium Score' was to check if there was any heart disease after my bad reaction to Imitrex last year and the subsequent weird ECG readings at the stress test. This result was negative so it seems that I can take Imitrex safely again, and the reaction I had was more likely a panic attack!!!!
The Echocardiogram with bubbles was to look for a PFO (Patent Foremen Ovale) or hole in the heart - this can affect headache, but not always! This also came back negative I do not have a PFO!!
So back to the drawing board!!! At least it rules stuff out and I can move on, and best of all I can get the Imitrex jabs back!!!!
take care all,
Ann
