Has anyone tried Depakote ER for migraine?

If so, please tell me what your experience was.

I have two relatives that are taking it and doing really well. I was on it about 2 years ago and, unfortunately, did not do as well. I don't believe that it's a common side effect, but I was extremely somnolent--I was sleeping like 15 hours a night no matter what I did. Anyway, because of it's typical efficacy, it's a highly regarded drug. Good luck!
