Hello.I'm new here.I've had migraines before I knew they were migraines.But these past 8 yrs have been the worst,with the past 2 making it so that I spend most time at home.I had insurance,I haven't had any for over 2yrs.I do get care at a local clinic.I have chroinic migraine.My pain level is usually at 4-5.
I've had many er trips thru the past 4-5 yrs.The first part of this yr was the worst part of it.I was going about once a month.Now I haven't been since about May.I get auras sometimes,when I have a migraine attack that I end up in the er it' dry heaving,sometimes I can't move my head or it'll make me sick.I keep dramamine on hand so I can get to the er.
That's about it for now.

I'm adding to this intro.I had a severe migraine attack 2 nights ago.I woke up with pain in the middle of forehead so bad,it was as if I ran into a pole full force.The pain went from my forehead straight up to the top of my head and back of it.I have no insurance.I have no abortives.I somehow fell back to sleep.I still had the pain when I woke up,the level of pain was lower.
I have to go to a counselor because I take klonopin,I take that because I have hashimoto's thyroiditis,which set off panic attacks.I had an appt scheduled w/my counselor & had to cancel.She was irate because I had cancelled b4 due to migraine attacks.I told her she knew that I get these.She said she was a busy lady & couldn't work this way.That she'd pass a note to my dr at the clinic.I go there today(had appt already scheduled).
I hope they don't stop my klonopin.I know I will suffer severe withdrawls.This "busy Lady" was totally uncaring.She basically called me a liar.I don't know what will happen today.I'm still in pain.And once again have been slapped by the medical community.
