Transverse Myelitis, lyme now MS!!!

Ok, I will keep this short...

Was sick for 10 years, had a spinal lesion four years ago found via an MRI, doctors said it was Transverse myelitis. Was treated for MS with Copaxone and IV steroids for a year but didn't feel better. Doctors said at time it was a precursor for MS.

Doctors then said it was not MS, was all in my head and sent me for pych evaluation which I was fine for and told me never to come back to the hospiatl as they would not treat me!!

Went to a natropathic doctor who ran Ignex western blot and all bands positive for lyme and babesia.

Was on a full year of daily IV Rocephin via picc, mid and port a caths until insurance cut me off. Made a big recovery during this time. Stopped Rocephin in August this year and the week after had an accident and had two major spinal surgeries and spinal fusions.
Since then all my symptoms returned and came out of hospital today after 3 days as I came off the road in my car after all the nuro symptoms came back suddenly and the whole left side of body went numb while driving!!

They did full mri of brain and spine, all clear, but they did a spinal tap for MS and Lyme and said it would take 2 to 3 weeks for the rsults....is this normal, as I thought results were immediate?

If you made a recovery on abx then that tells me your problem is bacterial in nature. 

The injury could have taxed your immune system in some way.  That is what happened to me.  Ok until after child birth and a few surgeries that sent me into a tailspin. 

The spinal shows lyme only about 5% of the time. The lyme blood test takes about 2 weeks so that sounds right for the spinal results.

I don't know about transverse myelitis.  What test give results for this dx?
