I found a good eye Dr and saw him about week or so ago. Got a good base line. I have 20/20 vision...but he said it looks like I had Optic Nueritis "years and years ago"...that makes sense to me. I have inflammation in my eyes and have been taking steroid eye drops,they are kinda weird. Maybe just because I dont like putting things in my eyes. He liked my explanation of "ziplock bag eyes" and placed it with the "ghost" like figure that follows a mouse sometimes...we both understand eachother perfect...LOL...

So glad I made the appt and got in,just wanted to share

WOW...Good visits today huh?!?! I'm so happy for u! Seems u are being well taken care of. Did he feel there was need for any other treatment now or just continue the steroid drops?? Sounds like u are getting good care friend...i'm so happy to hear this for u!

He did say my eyes are super dry and to start some sort of other drops(havent yet) and I go back in another few weeks...he wants to look into the deeper layers of my eyes

Hey Nichole

Something to know and maybe consider....if u'r eyes are really dry and that's what could be causing the probs, u may want to think aobut plugs. They are actual plugs that prevent fluids (tears?) from draining too quickly and allow more moisture for u'r eyes. My aunt recently had this and she loves it! U just have to be careful not to rub u'r eyes because they'll rub out! This is her second set! Best wishes friend!

flax seed oil is great for "dry eye". I use it for my dry eyes.

Ok...went to walgreens tonight for refills on my rx's and got what he wanted for me to get otc(refresh celluvisc lubricant eye drops)...will start tonight. Let you all know...

Wow, I didn't know this part and it's part of my "supplement regimen" now so this is a big added bonus! Thanks for the info on this... gonna look into those eye drops too, Nichole... I pretty much start and end every day with Visine just to "clear" them up so I can see. Some days are weirder than others and I have beet red eyes (everyone's thinking hayfever and I'm not) other days it's just so "sticky" its hard to open and blink clean. But maybe these will be better... been watching your post for tips.. thanks!

WOW!!! I used these eye drops last night...I must say,last night my eyes felt like they were on a fancy beach resort! I didnt realize they were that dry...I guess now I realize it's like my eyes are sandpaper or something. I put them in(well my husband did) and I just shut my eyes...it was lovely! I just laid there saying "ahhhhhhhh"...so,I recommend it!!

Everyone I have told has laughed like that! LOL...but really!! I told my Husband last night I couldnt wait for tonight to use the eye drops again! The finer things in life....ahhh
