What a lovely thought it would be to have MS without pain... but yes, I've heard of folks with it without the pain, their symptoms run in other directions, not so much in the mobility pain modes. So Barb, it could be or might not be, you gotta be patient, there's a whole gamut of stuff that your doctor's probably trying to rule out and figure out, eventually he won't have anything to rule out and he'll have to conclude... that's how mine did it... along with the symptoms that kept coming.
The counseling is a great idea. It does help to talk about it, to express yourself. The books that have been recommended here are wonderful too (MS and your feelings in particular)... and a couple others that I'd have to look up... it's good to be validated as not being crazy for feeling like a basket-case while going thru all this. At least that's how I've felt. Hope you feel better too!
