This is a happy post. I think I've hit a "peaceful period". It's kind of odd because for most of the month of June I thought I was at war with my body in just about
every symptom going nuts on me and then the beginning of July around the week after the 4th (I should keep better notes but I tire of the same ol' same ol') it seemed that the spasticity got figured out and by the time I left on vacation for Alaska July 17, it had subsided to a tolerable point, and since being in Alaska for 10 days where the weather was gloriously "chilly" I feel downright fabulous!
All I've got going on now seems to be minor stuff like the creepy crawlies, minor pain twinges, little things (compared to the full blown pain of June, this is a peice of cake).
So are there dots to connect here? Is this what it's like for a "flare" to subside and my body to settle down? Is it climate related or even altitude related? Hubby thinks being in higher altitude AND cooler weather of Alaska might have been a good combination for my body cos I hardly had any major pains or spasticity... just some of the leg weakness.
I'm smiling though cos I get to see my neuro and it's gonna be a happy visit (even if I do walk drunk still) to report these nice results! I just want to learn the MS routine and figure out what's what... then I won't be surprised when something hits the next time.
