Hey Tertle, I'm at 200mg daily right now in the morning and some of the fatigue still sets in late in the day, but that's ok, because then I can sleep and wind down at night. But I understand some folks can be up to 400mg daily.
With headaches, I'd ask about topomax help for that... low dose (50-100mg) daily sometimes helps maintain them. The provigil may have amplified them just because it heightens the bodies energy. I have atypical migraines due to a pituitary issue (daily without the T-max) so it's my saviour on that front. That's something you and your neuro may need to discuss.
Sometimes the radiologists will mention it in the report but becos it's not a major issue, the neuro doesn't mention it to you til something shows up symptom wise... ask just out of curiosity how your Pituitary looked on your bran scan if you've had one... and then ask abut your labs for Cortisol etc that are affected by the pituitary function. My indicators a little askew which match the Thyroid issues and the suspicious spot on the pituitary that we're monitoring.
And those run separately of rest of the MS symptoms he's monitored
