Well, let's see......I have permanent damage from MS, so there are things I deal with everyday and I will forever. I have chronic vertigo and balance issues, I have some cognitive stuff like word recall, I have the numbness that I already told you about, and I have some other junk. I am pretty consistent with those. I deal with them 24/7. I go along dealing with that and then I will "flare" or have an exacerbation. That is an acute attack of infllammation. It can mean a new lesion is forming or that I have inflammation at an old site. I may flare for a few days, weeks, or even months. Then the inflammation will cool a bit. Ususally after a flare, I am left with new problems that are here to stay. Those symptoms that stay are called residual symptoms.
That is the best I can do. I have some daily fluctuation but not much.
