Hi Spicey,
I'm not diagnosed yet but have been undergoing tests by Neurologist since last november as he feels I may have MS. I have had the usual tests, lumbar puncture, MRI brain and spine, evoked potential test, blood tests.
I have not long ago had an EEG which showed some slowing in the left side of the brain - not working as it should which the Doctor says is not epilepsy and says it may be the first signs of the lesions. Whatever it is may be the answer to why the right leg is going numb.
I don't know of course if this is a regular test or something that may just help sort things out. I have another MRI of brain and spine in a couple of weeks to see if anything shows. Just thought I'd let you know and maybe they just do the EEG to rule out other things???
It just seems almost impossible to get a clear answer sometimes from what I have read. I know of at least 2 people that doctors are still not confident in naming MS even though one of them has lesions. Very mysterious illness.
Good luck!
