Hey, haven't been on in a while, but just wanted to give an update. went to see the neurologist, had an em test that was normal. All he said was "see you in 3 months". No help to me. My primary dr is sending me to a neurologist out of town. This last week was probably my worst week with these symptoms, it was very hot, really the first hot day locally. I felt overheated, it almost made me sick. Fell 3 times in one day. The muscle cramps were sooooo bad i dont ever remember being in that pain. I cannot begin to explain the tiredness. I almost fell asleep driving durring the day. Nobody can fully understand this fatigue unless they experiance it themselves. I am slowly starting to recover, people tell me i look better anyway. I dont think i can be more frustrated with life, i need a diagnosis so i can get treatment. I dont know what to do.........

I'm sorry, I know I have read a lot of your posts already but I can't remember your details.  Did you have a brain and spinal MRI?  Your descriptions of heat intolerance, muscle cramps, and fatigue do seem classically MS in my untrained opinion.  I went undiagnosed for four years because my brain MRI's were clear.  This February I was finally checked for spinal lesions and subsequently diagnosed with MS.

I hope you get things figured out soon.  Be persistant!

Yeah, i got the spinal Mri, neg. My brain mri was in the begining of may, way before all the bad symptoms started....i know its invasive, i've seen dozens done, but i wanted a spinal tap. My neurologist here said no tho, my primary said i need to get out of this area and go to an ms specialist. I thought i was going to die that day it was hot.....

Try and find a MS specialist. Doctors tend to make symptoms fit the area they know about. My mother went to a rheumatologist for yeas, he was a really nice guy, but could not work out why she did not respond to her treatment. Finally he said she was a hypochondriac ! Then we found another specialist who diagnosed MS.

Yeah, the one my primary is sending me to is a ms specialist, I cant wait, im soooooo tired of not feeling good

I recommend you get copies of all of your MRI reports.  Sometimes minor abnormalities are overlooked by busy doctors, so it may help for you to read them yourself.  Having the reports can also help when you are talking to new doctors.
