Don't know if anyone saw my post from yesterday or not. I'm not sure how to use this site just yet.
Anyway I have had celiac disease for about 13 years and have been fine until about 9 mos ago. I started having nerve pains in my feet and shins. It went away and came back about 4-5 mos later along with extreme tiredness, depth perception and clumsy hands, balance issues and nerve pain in hands, wrist and arm (just a couple of times) and I have also had nerve pain in back of throat and tongue a couple of times. I have burning in the back of my neck and across my shoulder blades. Initially I was told I probably have a b12 deficiency, so I had a couple of injections and took b12 vitamins and my level of b12 is very high and my symptoms persist and seem to be getting worse, so dr doesn't think that is the issue anymore. I also had my vitamin D level checked and it was fine.
So I went to see a neurologist and I have had 3 MRI's, EMG, spinal tap and a ton of blood work. My dr is convinced I have MS, but I don't have lesions and my spinal tap was normal. With the blood work they ruled out lupus, sjogrens, thyroid disease, arthritis and lyme disease. So I am wondering if anyone knows if I can have early MS and my lesions haven't shown up yet, or is it possible that I have lesions in a spot that it wouldn't show up on the MRI.
If anyone has any info that would be great! Thanks!
