Newbie

Nice to meet you.  I am 31 years old and have been living with MS for 5 years.  I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few months ago, which makes things more interesting.  I should be in low gear, but unfortunately am at a time in my life that doesn't really allow for that.  I have four kids ages 4 to 9, and I am in school full time.  I want to get my degree before my health issues slow me down any more.  I too am blessed with a husband who is content to support me, although I have recently acquired partial disability from the VA, so that helps soften the financial blow. 

This website is a good resource.  It can take a couple of days to get a reply because many people are busy with jobs, but you can sometimes get good advice about new symptoms, etc. and it can be a good reminder that you are not alone in your struggles with MS.

Have you ever bought a brand new car that just seemed to have countless problems?  Needs new brakes, new engine, new tires, the electronics are askew.  Well that's me, for some reason I have been blessed with a "lemon" for a body.  Last week I had to buy a new pill organizer, one that separates your med's for morning, afternoon, and evening.  It's huge...and full.  Sad.
