Jimmy heuga passes away

Probably unknown to many of you, but incredibly influential in the way MS is dealt with.
Jimmy Heuga was an Olympic medalist in skiing. MS cut his career short. The thinking at the time when one got sick was to go home and not "tax" your muscles. He tried that for a while and decided that was not for him. So he did everything he possibly could: worked to have a good outlook on life, did everything physically he could and worked to eat and live healthily.
Later on he created the Jimmy Heuga Center, a MS treatment program that provides a holistic approach to slowing MS progress. He did not allow MS to define him and has throughout the years tirelessly promoted healthy living.
I was lucky enough to know him and our sons used to play hockey on the same team.
