I was wondering if I could get a feel for how many of you might have been diagnosed intially with Fibro that later turned out to be MS? 

I am really beginning to think that what has been diagnosed for me as Fibro is something else entirely as my symptoms change.  Do any of you suffer from "pins and needles" in your ear?

I know that may be a weird question just randomly thrown out there, "Do you suffer from "pins and needles" in your ear?"  But, this new symptom is really troubling me.  It is something I have never felt in my life.  I do have it in my legs and arm but, as it comes and goes...I attribute it to my fibro.  The ear symptom is almost constant.

I have numbness in my face, eyes and most of the rest of my body but, not in my ears. Are you experiencing any hearing problems as a result?
Is numbness a common symptom for people with Fibro?

MS and fibro can have a lot of symptoms in common. Pins and needles and numbness can occur in both and pretty much anywhere. Neeters with the fibro I get pins and needles in my legs mostly, sometimes in the face but it doesnt usually stay for more than a day or two in the same exact place. It likes to keep me guessing on where it'll show up next =) For me personally, anything new that doesn't fit the normal fibro stuff that Im used to I go see a doctor about. Even though fibro has a wide array of symptoms, not everything can be attributed to it. Hope you feel better.
