newly diagnosed

hi all  i was diagnosed with ms on monday last.  im really scared although im trying to be really positive.  my eye went blurry about 6 wks ago and is now normal again after a dose of steroids.  my legs are cramping and im really tired.  i have to get a lumber puncture and i dont know what to expect...help!!

I just had a lumbar puncture done in January. The procedure was done in the Radiology department at my local hospital using a fluoroscopy-guided technique. They tilted the head of the bed up during the procedure to increase the flow of spinal fluid. They use lanicane to numb you up first and there was really no pain just a little pressure. Some people do experience headaches after the procedure.

I'm wierd, I had pain in my forearms, back and neck for a number of days following the procedure. I was able to totally eliminate the discomfort by laying down flat. I also had some wierd hearing problems that corrected once the fluid and pressure in my spine returned to normal.

My results showed positive for ms, however i have no lesions on my brain or spine mri's to confirm the diagnosis.
