I have had chronic Lyme disease since 2006, but have been having other symptoms that are concerning my neurologist - like heat intolerance, lightheadness, muscle weakness in legs, numbness/tingly feeling in feet (sometimes hands), getting this horrible pain around my chest area that takes my breath away, fatigue, horrible headaches, etc. I had an EEG that was fine. I have EXTREME anxiety so when they sent for the MRI with sedation I was hoping they would put me out - they just gave something to "calm me" - it wasn't enough - so as soon as they put me in that tube I freaked! I was told there are places that do the general anesthesia but I don't know if I will be able to convince my doctor I need to go and have that done.
I was just wondering if anyone here has had to have that done?
Blessings,
Leah
P.S. My father has MS and he is really pushing for me to have all the tests done and see a MS specialist b/c he says it sounds so much like MS so I really want to get the test done so I know for sure what I have and if it is just my Lyme flaring back up - it just feels different this time.
