Anyone with MS have excessive fluid in their head and spine?

My drs are driving me nuts.  I just don't know what is wrong and neither does my drs?  They are sure that it falls somewhere between Lupus and MS.  There is mention of too much fluid in my head and possibly in my spine.  I was just wondering if anyone else out there has this.... confused

Hi. I post on the fibro board normally, but really, I have no idea what is wrong with me. My mother has lupus, my aunt had ms and I think, but am not positive I have fibro, or ms....

I have the same problem with my neck! It started in the spring and I actually went to emerg one night because I thought I had meningitis or something. I could barely hold my head up! And then July 1st, I woke up wth this clicking/grinding in my neck that is non-stop! Does not hurt but is very annoying! Every time I have a flare up which seems to be pretty often these days, my neck (top of spine where it joins the head) is really puffy and feels full of fluid. And then I have the holding my head up problems again!

Please let me know if you find out what this is! Good luck!

I will let you know if anyone can ever tell me what is wrong. I just wish that I knew what is wrong then I could deal with it. But I guess there is always time for more blood tests. I wish you luck with whatever it is that you have and I can completely understand what you mean by not knowing what you have. Today is one of those days for me. Thanks for the reply.

Have you been checked for cervical arthritis ? The clicking sound you keep hearing when you move your head or neck sounds a lot like a symptom of this.

Thank you I haven't heard of that but I will research it and mention it to my rhuemy. I was drained of blood the other day so it maybe in those tests, but I will mention it for sure.
