I am just curious to get an actual opinion about whether or not someone in this forum has had a similar encounter. I was a very healthy and active 29 yr old...when all of a sudden I started having some bizarre coordination issues and feeling quite ill and run down. During that time, the initial time, that this started happening my vision started going out. Best way to describe it was like.looking trough a really fuzzy dirty window pane. I ended up needing to have my gallbladder removed and it ended up having cholycistis; although I didn't have a single stone. So my doctors chalked up the ill feeling ( feeling almost inebriated) to that. But it came back then I started losing my ability to remember things, my coordination started going, had a very difficult time and still do connecting words. I am working on a masters degree and always had a very high gps...so all of a sudden I felt like I had just finished grade school. The major concern is the vision still going in and out and getting progressively worse. I've been to over 200 doctors visits in the last yr....two opthamologists..and a neuroopthamologist..neurology..rheumatology. The works. I've had a ton of labs done an mri of my neck and brain. No lesions are apparent. I recently switched to a new neurologist who said that it could be ms and it could take awhile for anything affirmative to show up. So I am wondering if any of you have had a similar.encounter with vision loss. Sometimes I think I've narrowed it down to one eye, then the next time it appears to be the other. Please let me know if this sounds familiar and what if anything.might be done about it. Its really difficult to do daily functions this way and I am a fighter...so I really want to know.
Thank you in advance.
