Hello, I came across this site whilst googling my symptoms in hope I may find an answer to why I feel like I do. I hope someone might be able to help me.
In 2006 I had a few really bad episodes of dizziness, I was sent for 2 brain scans that year which came back normal. Although now I still feel very off balance and feel like I am walking to one side, I don't have that really bad dizziness. I feel more like my balance is affected, like something is pushing my head down and I have little spells of dizziness. Over the past 5 years I feel I have deteriorated health wise in various ways, I feel just aweful most days and seem to have things adding to my problems, not only do I have this problem with my balance but I also have really bad pain all over, I can't really say if it is joint or muscle (just sore) and really catches me at times if I move in certain positions. I can't even cross my legs anymore, the pain in my groin area is too bad, more like stiffness. I can't sleep very well, I wake up in pain alot. I can't sleep with my arms under my pillow, my shoulders are just too stiff and sore, I can't even take my t-shirt off over my head without very bad pain. I feel weak, I have some neck pain as well, and tingling in my hands and fingers although the tingling and numbness has subsided quite a bit over the last couple of months, I still have numbness
and tingling in my hands and finger tips. I had tremors in one hand for a few months (this seems ok at the moment). I feel nauseaous at times for no real reason. I lost about 5 kilos quite quickly a few months ago, that is alot for me as I am only 45kgs anyway. I am about 40kgs at the moment and haven't lost anymore but I can't seem to gain any either. I am 5ft 0 inches, 49 year old female. My muscle tone seems very low also. I have had blood tests, all seems ok. I don't feel like I should be like this but my doctor kind of dismisses it because my bloods came back ok. I know I need to go and demand more tests, but does anyone have any idea what I should ask for and also what these symptoms could be caused from. Thank you.
