So in 2008 I had an MRI & it came back that I had 9 white matter lesions. From there I went and had a Spinal Tap and that came back fine. Was suppose to go back & have another MRI just so they could see if there were any changes. So jumping to 2012, I have been putting this off for 4 years. I feel fine but am so scared to go and have another MRI. I just wish that I didn't have to wait forever to get the results back. And was wondering if anybody else has lesions on the brain but no MS diagnosis.

Hi there, yes it is common, I had to go 3 times before the lesions showed up. Are you saying that you have been feeling fine for 4 years? I would think that in 4 years without being treated, etc that your symptoms would have progressed to some degree.

Yopur are right - no one likes to wait for their results, but you should go and get another one done just to see what is going on. I mean, you have waited 4 years, whats another couple of weeks - LOL
