What were your first symptoms?

I'd like to know what were your first symptoms?

And which symptoms actually made you see a doctor?

I have read on the internet about this disease but everyone is different.

My first symptom years ago was my urinary tract...then grand mal seizure....and those temporal lobe ones....only 2 grand mal in life,,,,idiopathic (lol) on and off.....can't go thru all but what really got me to see an ms specialist was my numb left foot for months and my right eye...plus my left ear is at least half deaf....ringing in my head is driving me bonkers too...

Years back, gkuhs woke up one morning and saw two of the same ex-wife (I'd hate to be him LOL - I can just imagine him seeing two of me). It didn't go away, so he went and had tests then found out about the ms. He had to do some kind of steroid treatment (he tells me everything) and the steroid treatment helped

My first symptom now that I look back was fatigue. I remember standing in my back yard asking myself, why am I so tired all the time.

Then I ended up with optic neuritis - which caused me to have double vision in my left eye. Went and got it checked and no one clued in at the time.

What eventually ended up determining that I had MS was when I had (and still do) L,Hermittes Sign. That was back in 2007. Went for an MRI and well, the rest is history.
