CCSVI. Anyone diagnosed or treated with this ?

You are referring to the Italian doctor, Paolo Zamboni. He treated his wife who did experience a reduction in symptoms. She was not cured.

When this news first broke in 2008, I was so excited. I'm waiting and watching now. I'm not so convinced anymore. It seems it can be helpful to some.

Yeah it sure seems like a mixed result

My doc said 30 percent have no improvement and though many have dramatic improvements.

He admits there should be more to the procedure like clearing the stuff that is causing blockages and also treating the cause after so it doesn't repeat.

I am torn about it.
The risk of clots to brain is low but there.
The procedure is not a huge deal.
Maybe worth a try.

It is angeoplasty.
But the reason they do it is the veins are blocked
With " stuff". My doctor and the lab tell me its biolfilms and can see actual infections inside the biofilms that exist there that start by attaching to vein walls and build up over time til block the blood flow.

So when you do ballon of vein it opens the vein. But where does this
Film go ? Its can't just be pushed out of the way ?
So its still there. And they don't scrub or clean vein walls like they can artery walls.

So people get reblocked as this stuff continues to exist and grow back to block again. If they would clean the area and take out the stuff blocking it in the first place the success would be higher.
They don't have a technique yet in place but it will come and they are talking about it and people know it is ended to be added to the procedure. They need to design a mechanism or procedure to do this.

Probably in years to come.
For now patients are expected to keep there blood fibrin and biolfilm free as possible with thinners and enzymes and even antibiotics and diet considerations etc.

I've not heard or read anything about this. I only know about the stenosis. Do you have a link to any articles about this?
