MS to not MS to MS

Hi Lendi, I sort of remember you posting about this previously. Everything a person reads about diagnosing MS, all says there is not one single test used to diagnose. A lot of it is process of elimination of other illnesses. When you were actively being treated, did any of the medication help you at all?

A good website is the MSSociety.org, a lot of excellent information there. They also have a "locate a dr" & perhaps you can find a dr close to you & get a consult. It would perhaps be worth considering.

I was dx in 2001 with a MRI of my brain only. I had symptoms for years before the diagnosis. Now.. 18 years later my neuro is saying "hmmm.. maybe this was never MS in the first place". The MRI's have gotten better over the years and are picking up different lesions that may or may not be MS. But, if they are not, then what are they?? No real answers for me. I have had many continuous symptoms that are typical of MS, but could possibly be attributed to something else. I am still being treated as if I have MS, but have finally reached a remission. It's a very tricky, complicated condition.

If you test for Lyme , Igenix is one of the better labs for testing for Lyme and the co-infections.
