Hi all,

I am new to MS. Still in shock actually. I thought for sure I only had a pinched nerve.
All the symptoms were there, but I excused them and attributed it to my being a 46y year
old mom of 2 and working full time.

I am feeling down. I am afraid of what might be down the road for me.

Thanks.Michelle. I have just started Copaxone. My 5th ninjection. I thought I was doing okay with it, but tonight
I messed up and the liquid went into the air instead of in me. I wonder if I should try again or just skip one night?
I HATE that I have to do this..

Hi Terri,

   I'm sorry you were diagnosed with MS, but it's good you are seeking out others to talk about it with.  We are very happy to have you here!  My hubby was diagnosed about six years ago and also takes Copaxone.  It really seems to be doing a good job slowing down progression and I hope it works equally well with you too!  Hang in there, and as Papa Bear said try to stay positive.  I look forward to getting to know you better, and we'll do what we can to help.

I'm so sorry about u'r dx as well. I am one of those many here who still don't know and i'm not sure if i'm better off or u...but i think at least knowing is great so u have the upper hand and can get treatment. I'm glad u'r here. U'll find everyone here offers great support...something u'll need....and very good advice. I'm also sorry about u'r injection, but i'd call u'r doc to get his idea on how to handle that in the future. I think i remember someone posting that same kind of accident once or twice here before and it seems they were told to wait til the next shot if they got any med in them...but i don't know otherwise. That's a question u'r doc should answer for u for sure. Welcome to the board and take care. We all care and are glad u'r here...tho as the others have said...sorry for the reason.
