I've been noticing for the past few years and especially the last couple of months that I have increased muscle tone in my legs. My calves and the muscles above my knee front and back are as hard as rocks! To feel them, you would think that I work out every day, but I'm actually not in good physical shape at all. I'm overweight, undertall, and have just enough time and energy for the things I have to do each day.
I think I read somewhere where the spasms from MS can cause increased muscle tone. Could this be what is going on? (I haven't been dx yet though.) Since May, I've had really bad muscle tremors, cramps, spasms, and stiffness all over my body, but especially in my legs and now they feel really weak (though with all that muscle tone, you'd think I'd be strong as an ox!)
Has anyone else experienced this?

Increased muscle tone and spasticity can often be confused. Or perhaps the spasticity (tightening of muscles) can cause the muscles to feel more "toned". Sounds like that is what is happening with you...

No. I am sorry to say that I have not experienced that; however, I am blowin up. My Gosh I want to lose weight. Not gain any. I wish you well and remember "You Are Not Alone"
