I wanted to say thank you!

You are so awesome with your analagies! For us who don't understand how everything is affected by MS or whatever is going on, your thoughts help us understand. The way you described how a lesion is like a cut on your finger and the detoured route is great!! You take the struggle of complex literature and turn it into everyday things that we can relate to.

For me you have taken something scary and made it into something I can deal with and come to terms with even though I don't have a dx yet.

Thank you for being a wealth of information, I greatly appreciate it!

My mom is blunt and straightforward with her words. She couldn't sugar coat anything to save her life! You always know where you stand with her. I respect that aspect in her and I see the same things in you. I don't think you are cruel, harsh or mean!!

Let me add to my original comments. Yes, yes, yes to all that's been said here already. I'm prob the most opposite of u in personality in that i try to sugar coat things too much when i should be more straightforward with whom i'm speaking. I appreciate u'r straightforwardness and manner of speaking. U get the information out there that we all need to see. We have it and we can think about it and do what we wish with it...and we all need that. All too often people (like myself) try too hard to get people to see the 'it'll be ok' side of things, when in reality we should all be facing things head on and dealing with the here and now. The certainty is that this board would be much less informed, much less capable, much less prepared if not for u. Thank you for u'r part in my journey.
