OK, tomorrow is my big day... I am hoping I get some sort of a diagnosis and a lot more information...Sux to be told you have MS but better than being stuck in the middle and not have answers...Hopefully, with my hand numbness, positive LP, and lesions, she can make a Dx... Wish me luck

I will be praying for u and hoping to hear something definitive tomorrow. Have u thought about the possibility of how u'r gonna feel if u get that dx? Someone asked me that once and it really took me back. I hadn't considered that part. Yes, it's something to think about and prepare u'rself for. Not that it'll make it any easier, but at least maybe make it something u'r somewhat prepared for. Prepare as much as u can for either answer. Yes, it stinks that u may have ms, but i agree, knowing is far better than wondering. I hope u don't have ms, but if not that i hope they do know what it IS. Is anyone going with u? Given that u'r experiencing so many symptoms that could lead to some answers, u may want someone to be with u or at least avail by phone. Best wishes to u and i'll be looking forward to hearing from u soon.

Hi

My husband was going to come with me but I told him I am fine to go alone. I dont like anyone actually coming in to the docs with me cause I want to ask a lot of questions etc... I get uncomfortable with anyone else there, even my husband.... I have been to all of my appts by myself so far, except my LP and that is only cause the doc told me i need to bring someone to drive me home...

I havvent told my parents anything about ANY of this actually. So they have no idea I might have MS. And I dont want to ruin their holidays or my own... Even if I get a definite tomorrow, I wont tell any family (my folks or my husbands) until after the new year so they can all enjoy the holiday.

Did I tell you guys I am going to Europe for a week in Dec? Going to London and Paris with my husband...Have always wanted to do that!

GOOD!!! U need the break and i'm glad the vac got worked out! I don't really blame u for deciding not to tell anyone anything until the new year. I'd feel the same way, but don't know how i'd contain it that long either. U have us and we'll be here to vent to or to rejoice with and use us all u'd like. Take good care!

GOOD LUCK.  As Rhonda said I hope it's not MS but I hope also that they can tell u what it is.  Try to prepare yourself for what ever the dx.  I can tell u from experience, it's eaier to have an inkling that something is going on.  With my other disabilities I had no idea there was even a prob.  So I was floored when I was told I might have MS.  I do jope that u get an answer tomorrow no matter what it is.  I can't imagine going as long as you and many others here have gone knowing something is wrong that drs can't even be sure what it is.  Good luck and please let us know how it goes.
