Going to a new Specialist!

OK, so the fact that my current MS specialist has not bothered calling me back after I have left her two messages about my T-spine MRI makes me so mad...and the fact that she hasnt returned any calls about prescribing me pain meds, or doing anything about my numbness made me MAD. Then the fact that I have a positive LP, numb hand for 4 months, positive spine tap and lots of other symptoms and no diagnosis scares me...But I wouldnt switch because of that alone...I need a doc that is somewhat responsive.... So o onto the next Specialist for a second opinion!

BRAVO to U!! Way to be proactive and take care of u'r health! U don't have to totally leave u'r current doc just yet because the second may give u the same answers and same wait, but if u like the new one u'll know what to do. If u'r not getting any response from u'r current doc then he/she just may not be the doc for u. I hope u like this new doc and feel really comfortable. Be sure to take along all u'r tests results and mri films as well as any notes u've made of u'r symptoms. With that in hand u'r new doc may not want to retest since all this is pretty recent. Best wishes and please let us know how it all goes. When is u'r appt scheduled for?

My appointment is next Thursday at 3:30... Yes, I am not officially "leaving" my current doc but looking for a second opinion for sure...
