Question. Ones side weaker than other and going weaker?

Welcome to the board. I'm not dx'd with ms, only have symptoms that aren't explained, but i do have more weakness on my right side than the left side. I'm pretty sure most here have one side or another that is weaker and more affected by symptoms. I don't have a prob standing on my rt side for short periods, but can say that if i lean on my rt leg for more than a few mins..put all my weight on it as in pressure...i do have probs. I have to wait and let it kinda catch back up and get strength back in it. I"m sure others will be along to tell u of their own experiences as well. I hope u'r doing well. Thank you.  I am trying to figure out what is happening, and I can not seem to get the doctor's to move any faster Everything is going fast for me in the weakness or it seems that way.  I was diagnosied with Fibro, and said that something else was wrong, but did not know what.  I had no clue that this was going to happen.  This is not a sign of Fibro.

Have you gone back to your doctor to tell him of your increased weakness?  He needs to be kept informed as to any changes in your situation, and this certainly sounds significant enough to be on the phone to him as soon as possible.

 

It should not be a matter of "being rude". You are PAYING the doctor. If he is not providing the help you feel you need, you need to first press for an appointment, and then seek another doctor.

You can do this without "being rude". Simply state that you are ill, getting worse, and need medical attention now.  If he is unwilling or unable to provide it, then you need to start finding another doctor.
