I feel a little funny discussing such a personal topic, I've never really
opened up like this before. But I am curious, and everyone here seems to be so
open I have to ask. I hope I am not offending/embarrassing anyone.
Has anyone experienced numbness "you know where" after intercourse? I have started experiencing this on and off for several months. Immediately afterwards the whole area goes rather numb and tingly. It doesn't affect any function, bladder or otherwise, and it does go away eventually. At this point it isn't really a problem, but I just wonder if anyone else has experienced this. It's quite odd.

Yes. I think most of us...women and men...can attest to this. (Obviously men don't have vaginas that go numb, but penises, and other skin in that area...)

Hey China
Yep, same here. During more often for me...and pretty distracting too, i must say! It does go away for me as well, thank goodness! I'm sorry u'r experiencing this...it's a bit bothersome...but at least it's something that doesn't last too long and hopefully not too often for u. Take care..and don't feel funny discussing anything...that's what we're here for friend.

China,
I have the same problem. Sometimes it happens during intercourse and other times it will happen after. I agree it is very distracting.

Same here, although not always during or after intercourse, most of the time, just at anytime.

Here too. It's a big bummer - especially when you're trying to be intimate and all you can think of is "I can't feel anything?, oh wait..., uh, no. darn" I sometimes wonder what my face looks like. lol. If I don't laugh, I cry...

HA! Angielov -
That is great! It's horrible having your mind somewhere else especially during that time... But you are absolutely right on with your scenario! ;o)

Yes, this is quite common! Sometimes we really don't know how numb areas are though until something new comes along. I found out after my interstim was implanted that I am very numb in that area!
Oh, the things we have to deal with....
