Hi everyone,
We have been getting some mean weather over here on Vancouver Island. We Islanders are not used to temperatures up in the 35 degrees celsius. We are used to rain , rain and more rain. Now we are not complainers....when spring comes rolling around at 17 and 18degrees celsius...we consider ourselves very lucky. Now my daughter loves this heat, bless her little heart!, but I am rendered absolutely useless. Parts of my body go on strike. I can't feel myself pee, can barely feel the one side of my leg...get vertigo and falls to go along with it.
Am I just imaginning it....I know a lot of people who have a terrible time handling the heat.
'How does the heat affect those of you who have a firm diagnosis. For me who is still in limboland, I'm not sure what to mention to doctor anymore. I've always been afraid to be labeled "Hypo, chondriac etc etc....so I don't usually speak up much when I see my doctor. I've been told that I have to wait for another major episode before I can be firmly diagnosed(and more lesions on my brain)....What constitutes a major episode?
Anyway, I'm hot, and tired(so, so tired. the fatigue is so not normal, hits me like a half ton truck....had to rant. Sorry folks.
I'm blessed that you're here.
Love and prayers.
tired old Mary
