new to forum

I have been linked to this forum two times in my search for information about MS and finally became so curious that I registered.  I was admitted with my first attack of spasticity the friday before mothers day and was readmitted a week later.  luckily i had the same ER doc who ordered an MRI right away.  I was diagnosed within 2 wks of my first attack.  Yes i had all the tests to rule out other illnesses.  My MRI showed lesions on my brain and 2 sights on my spine.  one of the doctors was so surprised that i had not experienced symptoms until this point because she feels that I have had MS for a while considering 3 sights.  I must say I feel truly blessed for that.  I always tell my friends that MS is my gift of life.  In the past 12 months I left my husband, am raising my two daughters, went back to school for my masters and was diagnosed with MS, and worked two addtl jobs.  MS gave me balance and permission to stop being super mom and enjoy my life.  My question is this.  I was planning to get a tatoo of a phoenix to symbolize my making it through all of the changes that i have gone through but now i am kind of scared.  Any comments?

thanks for the welcome dale. my bravery only comes from knowing that the battle is not mine..It's the Lords.  the nurses thought i didnt know but after the year i had i refused to let this take my smile. i worked too hard to achieve peace and am not giving it up.  i know that finally joining this forum will be a valuable resource for me. plus i have a big mouth and like to talk.

This came from a search for tattoos and MS. The line about nerve endings makes sense to me. So maybe, like real estate, t's all about location?
