confused  i have had ms for about ten years i hav been through most of the interferons and glatema acetate with little success. i have now been offered the cheamotherapy drug metoxatrone (i aqm not sure of the spelling) has any one have experience with this drug i do not know wether to use it or not and would be grateful for any advice any one could give me confused

Hey Paul

Good to see u again! I'm sorry, not dx'd, so no experience with any of the meds. I'm not sure we have any members with experience with this drug, but if so they'll be along soon to give u their input. I did do a search and found the following links that u may want to look at. I hope all goes well if u decide to try this new med. Take good care of u'rself and let us know how everything goes.

Hi Paul,

 

    I'm sorry you're not having much luck with the traditional crab treatments.  I did want to mention that mitoxantrone is also known as Novantrone just in case you are doing a search for it.  Hopefully some of our members can share their experiences with you on this med. Tysabri is also another one you could ask your doctor about.   Good luck in whatever you decide, please let us know.
